The Skol brand is owned by JSF Holdings private limited. The Group was founded in 1972 by Mr. M C John a retired senior bureaucrat in the Kerala government. It is currently led by Mr. Simon John and his team of eminent directors. The company is a pioneer in the ice cream and allied food industry in South India. The first factory was started in Kochi and today has over 10 factories and other ancilliary units spread across South India. Besides manufacturing of retail food products, the company also operates Restaurants and Café under the name Skol Café. The company also has brand experience centres in Ernakulam, Alapuzha, Kottayam and Trissur districts of Kerala and Mangalore district of Karnataka. The company has overseas operations in parts of Middle East and Africa.
